We are pleased to announce the 12th BdF–BoE–BdI International Macroeconomics Workshop, jointly organised by Banca d’Italia, the Bank of England, and Banque de France.
The workshop will take place on 13 November 2026 at the Bank of England in London.
This year’s theme, “New Risks in International Macro and Finance,” focuses on emerging challenges shaping the global economic and financial landscape. We invite submissions of both theoretical and empirical research addressing topics such as global imbalances, geopolitical risks, the future of the international financial system, dominant currencies, AI-driven spillovers, and sovereign risk dynamics.
The keynote lecture will be delivered by Oleg Itskhoki (Harvard University).
The submission deadline is 28 June 2026, and authors of selected papers will be notified by 17 July 2026. The presenting author is expected to attend, and financial support for academic speakers will be available in line with CEPR guidelines.
