CFP: 2026 Research Conference on Bank Regulation

Submission deadline: November 15, 2025
Notification of acceptance: January 1, 2026

Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and the Bank Policy Institute invite submissions for the 2026 Research Conference on Bank Regulation, to be held on February 20, 2026, in New York, NY.

The conference will bring together academics, market participants, and policymakers to discuss the latest research on the design and effectiveness of bank regulation. Submissions are welcome on all aspects of bank regulation, with particular interest this year in the implications of financial innovation, including digital assets, stablecoins, real-time payments, and the evolving roles of banks and nonbanks.
