Narodowy Bank Polski (NBP), the Bank of Lithuania, and the Central Bank Research Association (CEBRA) are pleased to announce the Sixth Biennial Conference: “Macroeconomic Policy in a Heterogeneous and Imperfectly Rational World”, taking place in Warsaw, September 24–25, 2026.
The conference invites submissions of theoretical and empirical papers on current issues in monetary economics and fiscal policy. We especially welcome work on:
- Interactions between inflation, monetary policy, and fiscal policy
- Fiscal sustainability, sovereign debt, and policy credibility
- Inflation dynamics, labor markets, and distributional effects
- Global supply shocks, demographic change, and technological progress
- Implications of bounded rationality for policy design
