The European Economic Association will launch the first pan-European Job Market for Economics PhD students in Naples on December 6-7, 2018. The steady improvement of academic programs in Europe and the supply of high quality PhD’s have reached a level that suggests that there is scope for a Pan-European job market that would work as a complement to the existing markets. The aim is to generate a thicker and better functioning market for PhD students in economics. The European job market will take place in December and lasts for two days. The first two editions will take place in Naples (December 6-7, 2018) and Rotterdam (December 19-20, 2019). Registration for employers and job market candidates for the 2018 edition is already open.
